- GNOME/GTK/GDK (1.x or 2.x). Please note, that it is not necessary to run GNOME desktop, you only need to have GNOME/GTK/GDK libraries available. For example, if both GNOME and KDE are installed on your system then you can run GNOME applications from KDE desktop and vice versa.
- LibXML2 (usually included in GNOME distribution).
