The link to the Visual Studio C++ 2003 Toolkit (free) provided to me by
Dmitry (thanks) contains ***NO*** nmake.exe

I had a tough time finding this old one. Any suggestions ?

The nmake you run is *very* old (version 1.50 from 1994). It is not from
MSVC .NET 2003.
