Hi Aleksey, I'm wondering if it wouldn't be too hard to add a --docsdir configure option, similar to --mandir. It would install the contents of the docs directory to some location (excluding makefiles and .cvsignore files of course). (Perhaps docs/ should be renamed html/, and the option called --htmldir?)
